Vanilla box design for a 10,000 sqft+ sized commercial building located in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. BLDG Projects designed the interior build out for a restaurant and bar space. The 1-story, all brick building project includes excavation of the basement, first floor restaurant build out, with a rooftop deck.
The original structure allowed for exposed interior and exterior brick walls and new tiled floor. BLDG Projects was able to redesign the space to have two designated dining areas, large exposed kitchen and bar area. BLDG Projects designed natural wood countertops for the bar, and enhanced the high exposed ceilings with a custom LED strip lighting design.
The new rooftop deck is made of sealed concrete and houses a full outdoor bar and additional bathrooms.
